A year of world-class training and academics at Mouratoglou Academy in the French Riviera.
Tennis is still a diversity-challenged sport that pulls from a predominantly white pool of youth talent when awarding support and scholarships. That’s why the Kodjoe Family Foundation, with the generous support of Tennis Channel, is excited to provide two Black students with a one-year scholarship covering High School tuition, room & board, training, tournament fees and high performance coaching at Mouratoglou Academy in beautiful Sophia Antipolis at the French Riviera

A year of world-class training and academics at Mouratoglou Academy in the French Riviera.

An accredited online academic program paired with local elite tennis training.

Continued schooling at home while receiving advanced training from USTA-affiliated coaches.
The Kodjoe Family Foundation & Tennis Channel award full scholarships for two Black students to train at Mouratoglou Academy on the French Riviera.
The LOVE ALL Scholarship Program, created by the Kodjoe Family Foundation with support from Tennis Channel, provides opportunities for Black youth to pursue elite tennis training and academic development through scholarships at top academies.
There are three types of scholarships:
Elite Tennis Academy Scholarship – A one-year scholarship at Mouratoglou Academy in Sophia Antipolis, France, covering high school tuition, room & board, training, tournament fees, and high-performance coaching.
ICL Virtual Tennis Academy Scholarship – A flexible, NCAA-approved online school program that combines elite academics with local USTA high-performance training.
High Performance Coaching Scholarship – Localized training with USTA-affiliated high-performance coaches while continuing high school education at home.
Students must:
Be at least 16 years old by September of the year they attend
Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
Be active tournament players with USTA, UTR, or ITF ranking
Have significant financial need (family income under $100,000)
Yes. Applicants must also:
Submit a 2-minute video introducing themselves and explaining why this opportunity matters
Provide recommendations from a parent/guardian and a teacher or coach (with full contact info)
Hold a valid passport and be fully vaccinated
Be willing to engage with the Kodjoe Family Foundation through video testimonials and events
Two Black high school students will be selected to receive a one-year, all-inclusive scholarship at Mouratoglou Academy.
Recipients gain access to world-class tennis training, an adapted academic curriculum, and year-round tournament participation, all designed to prepare them for potential athletic scholarships at U.S. colleges.

The Kodjoe Family Foundation’s Love All Scholarship is designed to open doors for Black youth in tennis, providing access to training, mentorship, and opportunities that prepare them for success both on and off the court. LOVE ALL Meet Junior Hakizumwami Meet Junior Hakizumwami, a rising tennis player from Kigali, Rwanda. Junior is the recipient of the 2024 Love All Scholarship and has taken his game to new heights while training at the world-renowned Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Biot, France. With hard work, passion, and resilience,

Meet Hanna Dessie, a 20-year-old Los Angeles native who graduated high school from the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in the South of France and is a current student at Howard University, working to become a professional tennis player and multi-hyphenate global talent.

Seventeen-year-old Shane Hines, a junior from Los Angeles, California, has been on a steady climb in his tennis journey since he first picked up a racket at age 10. What began as daily training sessions quickly evolved into competitive tournament play, fueled by Shane’s passion and drive for the sport.
